The publication of PMAS joint scientific research achievement between Jufeel Biotechnology Co., Ltd and The General Hospital of the People's Liberation Army (301 Hospital)

Recently, the reporter learned from the Jufeel natural medicine research center of Changzhou University that the scientific research team led by Professor Zhang Rongxuan of the School of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Life Sciences of Changzhou University and the scientific research project cooperated with The General Hospital of PLA (301 Hospital): "the effect of PMAS on the symptoms and anti oxygenation level of climacteric syndrome" scientific research achievements in the core journal of science and technology of“China Food and Nutrition”, 2019, No. 11 issue. It was published in the first issue and included in the full-text database of the“Statistical Source Journals of Chinese Scientific and Technological Papers”and“Chinese Academic Journals”.

The results showed that PMAS No. 1 sub-lingual instant film is able to improve the symptoms of climacteric syndrome, regulate the level of estrogen and enhance the antioxidant capacity of the body.

Objective: To observe the clinical improvement of PMAS No. 1 film on climacteric syndrome, especially the effect of PMAS on the index, hormone level and climacteric symptom score, so as to provide scientific basis for the clinical application of PMAS in improving climacteric syndrome.

Methodology: a randomized controlled double-blind experiment was carried out. From September to November 2018, 50 female subjects with climacteric syndrome were recruited from the outpatient department of General Hospital of PLA and randomly divided into two groups (25 in the intervention group and 25 in the control group). They were respectively given PMAS No. 1 (6 tablets per day) or Millennium preparation (6 tablets per day) under the tongue. After 3 months of intervention, the results of menopausal self-evaluation, fatigue evaluation, GAD7 anxiety score, PHQ9 depression, blood limpidity level and antioxidant index were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.

Results: a total of 46 subjects completed the study (24 cases in the control group and 22 cases in the intervention group), and the lost rate was 8%. Compared with that before intervention, the menopause self comprehensive score, fatigue score and estrogen level of the two groups were significantly improved (P

Conclusion: PMAS No. 1 can improve the symptoms of climacteric syndrome, regulate the level of estrogen and enhance the antioxidant capacity of the body.

Seeking for other drugs and functional foods that can improve menopausal symptoms without increasing side effects is a constant concern in the scientific research field.

The effective element of PMAS is Aloe Vera gum, beta, and (1,4) acemannan, which is soluble glucomannan. It mainly contains 85% mannose,7% of glucose and 4% galactose. It is considered to be the most important bioactive polysaccharide in Aloe polysaccharide. It has the effect of "immune regulation, anti-cancer, anti oxygenation, wound repair, promotion of hyperosteogeny and intestinal health. The US FDA has approved the use of acemannan in the treatment of wounds and alveolar osteitis. Animal experiments show that the effective components of aloe have phytoestrogen like effect, which regulates the hormone level in two ways.

However, there are rarely reports on the effect of active ingredients in aloe to improve menopausal syndrome, especially in clinical population studies.

Since PMAS is not easy to be absorbed by human body, this study adopts the form of film to take it under the tongue and to absorb through sub lingual venous plexus, so as to observe the clinical improvement to patients with climacteric syndrome after taking Aloe Vera's effective component PMAS, focusing on the effect of PMAS on the inflammation index, hormone level and climacteric symptom score of subjects, so as to improve the climacteric syndrome by PMAS to provide scientific basis for the clinical application of PMAS in improving climacteric syndrome!
